A group dubbed the Road Show Poets will help kick off Lamesa’s second annual Earth Fest Convergence that will begin here this Friday. With activities scheduled through next Monday, which is Earth Day, the event is hosted by Earth Mother Studio at South 8th Street and Bryan Avenue. Trev Wainwright, also known as “The Road Poet,” is making his way back to Lamesa from Castleford England. He is, in his own words, the UK’s most prolific traveling poet, until proven otherwise.
