The young Golden Tornadoes’ tennis squad continues bringing home the hardware. In their final tournament before district, the Lamesa earned seven medals Thursday at Levelland. That tournament once again was hosted by the South Plains College’s Homeschool Academy. Junior Krystal Moreno took third place in her girls singles bracket, winning two of her three matches. The Golden Tor squad won consolation honors in five other brackets. Freshmen Justis Ram-ford and Zaden Garza won consolation in boys doubles by winning two out of their three matches.
