Approval of a new budget and consideration of a tax abatement are two items facing directors of the Dawson County Hospital District during their regular meeting this coming Thursday afternoon.
That meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the community room at Medical Arts Hospital.
The district’s proposed budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year projects total revenue at just over $37.1 million and total spending at about $19.5 million, including depreciation.
However, after adjustments for contractual allowance, depreciation, debt service and capital asset purchases, the district is projecting to end the year with a cash balance of $109,797.
