Permits for 12 new water wells scattered across the county were approved by directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District during their regular meeting this past Wednesday. Three of those permits are for wells to supply water for oil and gas activity, as requested by Foy O’Brien. Two other permits, requested by Keith Addison, are for wells to provide water for oil drilling rigs.
