Wayne Henderson, superintendent of Sands Consolidated ISD in Ackerly, has been elected to the rule-making body for the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL). Henderson will serve on the UIL Legislative Council in a position representing all Conference 1A schools in Region I, which encompasses the northwestern part of the state. “I’m looking forward to it, not only for myself but to be able to represent the schools in this region,” Henderson said.
