Election officials for the 2019 City Special Election scheduled on Saturday, May 4, were appointed on Tuesday evening by the Lamesa City Council.
Elda Barrera was named as presiding judge and Norma Ortega as alternate presiding judge. Up to six clerks may be appointed by Barrera for that election.
Ortega also will serve as presiding judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board and Barrera will serve as alternate presiding judge for the board. Ortega may appoint up to two clerks for that board.
