Preparations are underway for Lamesa’s Chicken Fried Steak Festival and Crossroads Balloon Rally next month, including the Chicken Fried Steak Dinner that traditionally kicks off the celebration on Friday evening.      Held the last weekend of April each year, this year’s festival and rally will be held Friday, April 26, through Sunday, April 28.     The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking input from the community about the caterer and entertainment for the dinner that is held in Forrest Park Community Center.      The Chamber also is looking for feedback about the church service, which has been held on the weekend ...
