Council approves $65,000 for new Christmas decorations
ANDREWS – The longtime, traditional Christmas decorations put up on street lights on Main and Broadway each holiday season will give way to newer, modern decorations following city council action on Thursday. Council members approved $65,000 toward new decorations and an electrical upgrade on light posts they are attached to. Andrews City Manager Steve Eggleston said the new decorations will span five blocks each direction from Main and Broadway.
