Gary Webb was born on March 21, 1959 to Wayne and Peggy Davie Webb in Lamesa, Texas. Gary and Karla James Webb married and blended their families on January 7, 1989 in O’Donnell, Texas.
Gary was a man who loved his family with his whole heart and was intensely passionate about being Pa. While most men found joy in passing the time with hobbies such as hunting and fishing, Gary had one hobby, spending time with his family.
Gary began his career with John Deere in 1987, and at the time of his death was the Corporate Parts Manager for South Plains Implement. Gary’s love for his job and compassion for people made his fellow co-workers his second family.
Survivors include his wife, Karla Webb; their children, Kimberly Ware and husband, Kyle, Laci Higgins and husband, Wesley, Kenna Logan and Heath Webb and wife, Brandi; grandchildren, Dyllan and Kailey Tindol, Tyler and Hayden Ware, Aleigha Webb-Hilburn, Paizley and Lyleigh Higgins, Taden and Kalen Logan, and Tyce and Brookslie Webb; mother, Peggy Jean Webb; sister, Tammi Bell and husband, Ryan; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Webb.
The family of Gary Webb would appreciate contributions to be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org in his memory.
