Due to weather forecasts calling for high temperatures in the 30s, tryouts for Lamesa’s youth baseball leagues have been pushed back, according to Cal Rip-ken President Rick Wallace. “It’s supposed to get in the low 30’s this week with the wind blowing on top of that, so I don’t even want to be outside next week,” Wallace said on Friday.
