The Dawson County Sheriff Office’s annual racial profiling report, which includes public contact data made by law enforcement officers, was presented last Tuesday afternoon to the Dawson County Commissioners Court.
Sheriff Matt Hogg presented the information from the sheriff office for the reporting period from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018.
The annual sheriff’s report is required by the Texas Racial Profiling Law (S.B. No. 1074), which became effective on Jan. 1, 2002.
