Next Friday morning, the Dawson County Public Library will announce the winning book for the statewide Texas Bluebonnet Award at North Elementary School. The librarians will tell students the winner of the contest in separate assemblies at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. Library director Debbie Garza said the library has showcased the Texas Bluebonnet Award List at North Elementary for several years.
