Jose Gonzales

    Memorial services for Jose Louis Gonzales, age 66, of Lamesa, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Jose passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on May 3, 1954 in Lamesa. 
    Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Fidencio and Alicia Gonzales.
    He was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed woodwork, spending time with his family and just being a great man and friend.
    Jose is survived by his sons, Joe Alex Gonzales and Joe Louis Gonzales Jr. and wife, Sandra, all of Lubbock, Texas; his brother, Alfredo Gonzales of Levelland, Texas; his sisters, Mary Granado and husband, Felix Granado, of Levelland, Texas, Josie Sanchez and Robert Hernandez of Lamesa, and Martha Gonzales and Jesus Silva of Levelland, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
