Kim Bairrington, the newest member of the Dawson County Hospital District’s board of directors, is already very familiar with hospital finances.
Up until a few years ago, Bairrington had served for more than two decades as an independent outside auditor for the district and Medical Arts Hospital.
On the recommendation of board chairman Cris Norris, Bairrington was appointed this past Wednesday to fill the vacant at-large position on the hospital board until an election is held in May.
