A poor third quarter hurt the Lamesa High School boys basketball team in a 59-46 loss at Levelland on Tuesday evening.
The Golden Tornadoes got outscored 20-10 in that pivotal third quarter after being down just two points, 21-19, at the half.
“This was probably our best defensive game of the year. We’re really making strides there,” LHS Assistant Coach Zane Mauney said. “If we could just clean up our turnovers we would be in good shape.”
