I have been going down through the Everglades for the last 30 years. For 30 years I have successfully driven by the air boat rides without stopping. There did not seem to be anything I could see on an airboat that I hadn’t already seen from a canoe or a tour-boat.
The shut-down of the national parks put a kink into what I would normally do, however, and this year I paid for the ticket at Cooper-town for the original boat ride.
The price was less than the other tours and it is fairly close to Homestead on Highway
