Gloria Nuñez

    Services for Gloria Lopez Nuñez, 62, of Andrews, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Deacon Jose Gallegos and Adrian Gonzales officiating.
    Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.  
    Rosary services will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel.
    Mrs. Nuñez passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019 in Andrews.
    She was born on March 30, 1956 in Weslaco, Texas to Emiliano Lopez Sr. and Blandina Aguiñaga Lopez. She was raised in Welch and graduated from Dawson High School and attended Odessa College.
    She married Julian Nuñez Jr. on April 16, 1977 in Lamesa. She had lived in Seminole and Crane before moving to Andrews in 1980. She had worked for Permian Regional Medical Center and Dr. Redmond from 2001-2013. She was Catholic.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jorge Lopez.
    Survivors include her husband, Julian Nuñez Jr. of Andrews; four children, Gabriel Nuñez of Andrews, Christopher Daniel Nuñez of Midland, Trish Cordova of Andrews, and Jaime Antonio Nuñez of Andrews; four siblings, Reina Barrera of Odessa, Emiliano Lopez Jr. of San Antonio, Terri Hernandez of Lubbock and Victor Lopez of Odessa; and five grandchildren.
