The scheduled joint board meeting of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation and the Lamesa Economic Alliance Project was canceled prior to its starting time on Monday evening. Sean Overeynder, executive director of both LEDC and LEAP, said the meeting was canceled “due to the lack of a quorum” of board members. Overeynder said on Tuesday that he did not know if the meeting would be rescheduled or if those items on the agenda would be held over until the February board meeting.
