The Dawson County Hospital District continues on a path to recovery after hitting a financial crisis some 18 months ago, according to hospital officials.
“I’m very happy we’ve got our facility going in the right direction but there’s still a long way to go,” board member Ray Stephens said during this past Thursday’s meeting of the district’s board of directors.
“We have a lot of accounts payable (bills) to get caught up on but we’re generating cash,” he added.
