Tyler Lee (Moose) Mitchell
Memorial Services for Tyler Lee (Moose) Mitchell, 55, will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 501 CR 24, Lamesa, Texas on Friday, December 28, at 4:00 p.m.
Tyler went to his eternal home with Jesus on Monday, December 24, 2018. He was born on August 10, 1963 to Douglas and Patsy (Tyler) Mitchell in Lamesa, Texas.
Moose was known to be a very generous, giving, and kindhearted man always lending a helping hand to those in need, especially making kids everywhere feel special at Christmas.
Moose worked in the oilfield from the time he was 15 years old until he was 52 when health issues forced him to retire.
He is survived by one sister, Dana Kim Adams and her husband, Dennis, of Lamesa, Texas; one nephew, Jason Adams, (Melissa), of Lamesa; two nieces, Courtney Douglas, (Larry), of Moore, Oklahoma, and Kelsye Hughes, (Taylor), of San Angelo, Texas; and several great-nieces and nephews who all knew him as Uncle Moose. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Patsy (Tyler) Mitchell; and his Dad, Douglas Mitchell.
