Great things are happening at South Elementary. Our academic foundation has started strong, and we have many things of which to be proud. The English Language Arts teachers are excited about the progress the students are already making in reading. Teachers are focusing on the Balanced Literacy Framework, which allows students to participate in shared reading, interactive writing, read-alouds, phonics, and student work stations.
