Bomb threats – reported just minutes apart – at three local medical facilities this past Thursday afternoon are under investigation by the Lamesa Police Department.
The first bomb threat was reported at 1:16 p.m. by Medical Arts Health Clinic, 2202 North Bryan Avenue.
“LPD responded to Medical Arts Health Clinic ... in reference to a bomb threat,” Police Chief Dale E. Alwan Sr. said in a written press release on Friday. “While at the scene, LPD received two other bomb threats.”
