The theme of this year’s Christmas on the Square is “White Christmas. Organized by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will be held this Thursday around the courthouse square, weather permitting. Lamesa’s lighted parade, the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant, and Santa in the Courtyard are among the holiday-themed activities planned. Due to the wintery weather forecast for that evening, the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant has been moved to the Forrest Park Community Center following the parade.
