ANDREWS – A projected timeline for an overpass project at a highway intersection east of Andrews notorious for tragic vehicle accidents was discussed during a workshop session at Monday’s commissioners court meeting. Commissioners met with Texas Department of Transportation representatives to discuss the overpass and other future highway projects scheduled for Andrews County. The $11.5 million overpass project scheduled for State Highway 176 and FM 1788 potentially could be completed by late next year if everything goes as planned, according to county officials.
