A reflection of their strong showing on the court this past season, all eight of Klondike High School’s regular varsity volleyball players earned recognition on the all-district team.
“Getting all eight of them a little recognition was awesome,” Klondike first-year coach Eva Myers said. “I just love these girls, and they certainly deserve it.”
The recognition was particularly meaningful, she said, coming in an eight-team District 3-2A that included two Class 2A teams and six Class 1A squads.
Klondike players captured three of the top five superlative individual honors.
