Lamesa, Klondike FFA chapters advance to area competition

Both the Lamesa and Klondike FFA chapters qualifi ed multiple individuals to advance to area competition from the Mesa District Leadership Development Events contest on Nov. 5. Generally, teams or individuals must place in the top two at district in order to advance to area. Lamesa FFA will be advancing to the Area II contest in Agriculture Advocacy, Greenhand Creed Speaking, and Public Relations. Klondike FFA will be sending members to area in Greenhand Chapter Conducting, Greenhand Quiz, Job Interview, Radio Broadcasting, Senior Chapter Conducting, Senior Creed Speaking, and Senior Quiz. Schools participating in the Mesa District competition included Brownfi eld, Denver City, Klondike, Lamesa, Meadow, New Home, O’Donnell, Plains, Post, Seagraves, Seminole, Southland and Tahoka.
