SLATON – Slaton seniors wanting a bit of time to meet with others, have coffee and visit with each other - other than just meals at the Slaton Senior Citizens Center, will have a new opportunity to do so.
BROWNFIELD – Summer is almost here and as the weather gets warm the Brownfield Parks Department is hard at work on revamping the pool that has been closed for the past two years. Originally, it was closed for COVID, then the next year Texas had its massive statewide freeze that left the pool needing repairs.
ANDREWS – With less than a month remaining in a petition effort to place two alcohol option elections on the November ballot, signature collecting has slowed down, according to the petitioner.
