Focused Care sets event for Grandparents Day
In honor of “Grandparents’ Day,” this coming Sunday, Focused Care of Lamesa is hosting a luncheon for their elderly clients and their grandkids.
In honor of “Grandparents’ Day,” this coming Sunday, Focused Care of Lamesa is hosting a luncheon for their elderly clients and their grandkids.
Lamesa Community Players will be presenting a play by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten Oct. 6-11. This so-called Southern-Fried comedy is set in the fictional community of Sweetgum, Texas where the Verdeen cousins prepare for the ultimate high school reunion before their old school building is demolished. Brewer becomes third Lamesa school trustee to leave since March
It was a quick transition after a year of severe drought to have rescue personnel helping people out of flooded vehicles and roadways Wednesday afternoon.
While heavy rains created some localized flooding issues this past week, the severe drought during the past year is continuing to have a major impact here and across the entire area.
It couldn’t have been said better after Lamesa City Council unanimously voted on first reading in a special meeting Wednesday to adopt the 2022-2023 tax rate.
