Water levels are dropping, and evaporation and mineral levels are rising at Lake Meredith, which supplies the majority of Lamesa’s drinking water.
There are no plans in place right now, but O’Donnell school board members agreed Jan. 19 to accept a donation of land to the school.
The school’s annual financial audit will be the focus of a special called meeting of the Klondike school board at 6 p.m. Thursday in the school library.
