The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) seeks nominations of domestic cotton producers from Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Texas, and importers of cotton and cottoncontaining products for positions on The Cotton Board.
Permits for two new oil drilling operations and two recompletions at well sites in Dawson County have been issued by the Texas Railroad Commission during the past six weeks.

While it is unclear how he acquired the manuscript, it may have been an illegal copy, and was apparently issued without the Bard’s permission, causing some damage to Thorpe’s reputation.
