With the highway slick due to ice, a woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident just south of Lamesa on Tuesday.The accident happened about 12:10 p.m. on Highway 87 about four miles south of Lamesa.Fausta Gaspar De Arcos, age 60, of Rio Grande City was pronounced dead at the scene by Dawson County Justice of the Peace Larry Duyck.Benjamin Arcos-Rios, 64, of Dumas was transported by ambulance to University Medical Center in Lubbock in serious condition, according to information released at mid-afternoon Tuesday by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).The DPS information states ...
