A “meet and greet” event for Freddy Olivarez, the new chief executive officer of the Dawson County Hospital District, has been scheduled this coming Friday afternoon.Offering the public an opportunity to meet and visit with Olivarez, the event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room at Medical Arts Hospital.Olivarez, who had been serving as chief operating officer of the Martin County Hospital District, was hired in early November and began working here in December.He succeeds Letha Stokes, who left the hospital district in January after a 35-year tenure with the hospital which saw her rise ...
