Annual football guessing contest.
Gonzales correctly guessed the winners in 10 games listed for the opening week of the contest. That earns him the weekly top prize money, $25.
Four other contest regulars – Tony C. Rodriques, Jatuan Rodriques, Monty Wilkerson and Joaquin Rodriquez were next in line with nine guesses correct. With a guess of 48 total points scored in the tiebreaker game, Joaquin Rodriguez won second for $20 prize. Monty Wilkerson was third after the tie braker with 38 total points good enough to take home $15. Weeklywinnersmay pick up their prizes at the Lamesa Press-Reporter office.
