Two days of cooking, serving and test-taking proved successful for Lamesa High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) last week.The students competed Thursday thru Saturday in the Level 1 Regional Leadership Conference in Lubbock.Competing in events such as Serving Up Success and Culinary Arts, nine students advanced to state competition in March.Culinary teacher Kevin Pedroza is pleased with the students’ hard work and outcome.“They did good.
