Farmer appointed to new term on The Cotton Board

Dawson County cotton producer Matt Farmer has been re-appointed by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to serve another three-year term on The Cotton Board.A producer member representing the Southern Plains, Farmer currently serves as treasurer of the board.The Cotton Research & Promotion Act established the Cotton Board as a quasi-governmental, non-profit entity to serve as the administrator of the Cotton Research & Promotion Program.
