Lamesa City Council members slightly tapped the brakes Tuesday when it came to the second and final reading of proposed changes to the municipal building codes.Mayor Pro-Tem Gloria Rodriguez, who presided at the meeting during the absence of Mayor Josh Stevens, brought up the topic of how recreational vehicles (RVs) are stored and parked.She expressed concern that the ordinance doesn’t address how close an RV can be located to a home or a neighbor’s property.
