TAHOKA – The Childress family, early-day pioneers of O’Donnell and Lynn County, have been recognized for a legacy that few attain - a legacy that spans more than 100 years.The Texas Department of Agriculture’s Family Land Heritage program has officially recognized the Childress Farm as having been owned by the same family for 100 years. The farm has seen five generations of the family farm the land since 1920, when family patriarch J.T.
