Kinard, Maples set wedding date

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Ayres of Woodland Park, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Kinard of Lubbock, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn “Katy” Michelle Kinard, to Brian Maples of Nashville, TN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gil Maples.

The cast and crew of the Lamesa Community Players’ next play, Outward Bound, are now rehearsing three days a week in preparation for four performances Oct. 28-31. The show is described as “friendly,” with three acts fi lled with humor, human sympathy, laughter and a surprise ending.
