Lula Mae Williams, 55, has been serving the senior citizens of Lamesa for more than 23 years. She works for the Dawson County Senior Citizen Center handling maintenance but does almost everything else there when needed. Williams said her favorite part of the job is, “Being able to go out and deliver with Meals on Wheels and just see the elders.” Not just working alongside them, but building a relationship with each individual is important thing to Williams.
