Cornerstone Fellowship estimated attendance at 350 people for a drive-up service held by the church at the A&W Events Center (former Country Club) on Easter Sunday. With a trailer set up as a stage, the service was broadcast over a PA system and was transmitted to car radios with the help of the FM transmitter for the former Sky-Vue drive-in theater. Communion was celebrated by providing individually wrapped bread and a juice bottle for each car. Cornerstone Fellowship Pastor Daniel Reese said they plan to continue the outside services through the remainder of the quarantine period. Everyone is invited to attend and even bring their lawn chairs to sit outside their cars while still practicing social distancing. Reese said the service this Sunday will be at 5 p.m. so that it will not interfere with other church services.
