It was a tale of two halves for Klondike’s boys basketball squad Monday afternoon against the Lorenzo Hornets.
“What is my Christmas wish? I think all my wishes are coming true. My wish is that everyone gets what they asked for. That everyone up in Heaven has a jolly Christmas, too.”
A trailer filled with Family Harvest Church children went caroling around town Sunday afternoon.
The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a fireworks display at 11 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the rodeo grounds. Everyone is invited.
Due to the Christmas holidays, there will be no residential garbage collection by the City of Lamesa this coming Thursday and Friday, according to Robert Ramirez, the city’s public works director.
During December, the Dawson County Public Library has hosted an array of activities to spruce up the Christmas season.
