Joyce Ann Adams

    Memorial service for Joyce Ann Adams, 88, of Lamesa, will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Welch Church of Christ with Kalith Brown and Bo Brock assisting. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Joyce passed away August 8, 2024, in Lamesa surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 20, 1935, to Roy Warren and Julia Fry Warren in Colorado City, Texas. 
    She married R.L. “Sam” Adams June 16, 1956, in Colorado City, Texas. They were married 68 years.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. 
    She worked for many years as a secretary at Dawson ISD in Welch, Texas. She loved dancing and spending time with her loved ones.
    Joyce is survived by her husband, R.L. “Sam” Adams of Lamesa; her loving daughter, Kelly Hand and husband, Jay of Abilene, Texas; granddaughter, Blair Pallarez and husband, Manuel of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her great grandson, Rory Pallarez.
