Early voting in this year’s midterm elections began Monday and continues through Friday, Nov. 4. Election Day is Nov. 8. Voters will pick the state’s next governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, land commissioner, agriculture commissioner and comptroller in statewide races.
Okay, I confess. I am – as many retailers know – a sucker of the first order. I’ve ignored pleas of loved ones and friends warning me about buying items at greatly reduced prices. We assess value based on our net worth, which is often decreased by net waste. Time spent amassing wealth is valuable; time spent wasting time is just that. And that could very well lead to a squandered life.
My name is David Ritchey. I am proud and blessed to represent the Lamesa community as the Lamesa High School Principal. I am in the fourth year of my second stint with Lamesa ISD. Chances are, I have either opened the door for your student or fist bumped your student as they arrive for the school day at some point in those four years. I tell everyone that will listen, Lamesa kids are the best kids.
