Many people in Lamesa, if not most, prefer not to think about death or what happens after they are gone.
Procrastination… is it an illness that strikes us all? Directly or indirectly, we are all affected.
STAAR scores show continued struggles in math, reading Texas public student scores in standardized testing continue to improve since the pandemic, but more than half of those taking the test still struggle with math and just under half read below grade-level, the Texas Tribune reported. Students in grades three through eight took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness tests in math and reading last spring. The results were released last week by the Texas Education Agency.
Every day, whether here in Mexico or in the US, I take a walk. Walking in the morning would be nice, but that’s when I write, so, in the afternoon, I head out to see what the world looks like.

Ilove children! I love the way their minds work. I love their imagination. I even love how then keep me on my toes when I teach Sunday school. Over the many years I’ve taught, I’d heard some of the funniest things.
Sometimes it’s good (and fun) to just be silly. I guess today is one of those days for me. So here goes.
