The Welch water system project and the Lamesa solar project, as well as the annual county audit, all will be addressed by the Dawson County Commissioners Court at its regular meeting this coming week.
That meeting will get underway at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the County Courtroom of Dawson County Courthouse, North 1st Street and Main Avenue, in Lamesa.
The Commissioners Court will consider the awarding of a contract for the Welch Water System project, which has been in the works for some time now.
County officials also will consider an agenda item to approve the road use, road access, driveways and crossing agreement for the Lamesa Solar II LLC project.
A review of the annual county audit for fiscal year 2016-2017 is scheduled to be presented by Gary, Bowers, Miller, CPAs for possible approval by the Commissioners Court.
Sheriff Matt Hogg will present an activity report from the Dawson County Sheriff Office for discussion and possible action.
The sheriff also is expected to request that some rifles be declared as surplus for the purpose of a trade-in.
