Routine information will be presented at this month’s regular board meeting of the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber board members will meet at 12 noon this coming Monday in the Presidents Room of the Chamber, 123 Main Avenue, in Lamesa.
Chamber Chair Ashley Clement will give a routine report on Chamber membership renewals. Clement also will ask board members to set a date for the annual Chamber Banquet to avoid conflicts, as well as discuss a resolution in support of the extension of Interstate 27 south of Lubbock.
Chamber President Sandra Adams will give a report about the Chicken Fried Steak Festival and request t-shirt sizes of board members. She also will report on the Hotel Motel Tax monies that recently were approved for the Chamber.
During her report, Adams will advise board members that a new signature card has been made for First United Bank and discuss the need to update the signature card for Lamesa National Bank.
A discussion of an upcoming candidate forum for city, school and hospital candidates also will be discussed. That forum will be hosted by the Chamber.
